    Ernie the Turtle in Turtleford, SK

    Ernie the Turtle in Turtleford, SK, is Canada’s largest turtle, measuring 8.5m long, 4.3m wide and 2.4m high. Ernie was designed by Don Foulds and built to commemorate Turtleford’s acquisition of town status in 1983. Made from metal, wire mesh and cement, you'll find Ernie along Hwy 26.
