Some Saskatchewan senior citizens will be among the first Canadians to receive special postage stamps issued to mark the royal wedding. Canada Post will present official first-day covers of the stamp bearing Prince William and Kate Middleton to members of the Saskatchewan Century Club in Saskatoon. Members of the Century Club (all over the age of 90) will receive the stamps at a tea hosted by Saskatchewan Lt.-Gov. Gordon Barnhart.

The Official First Day Cover bears the two stamps, cancelled in Ottawa, Ontario, that were issued to commemorate the wedding of the Royal Couple. First-day covers are highly valued by stamp collectors because they've been postmarked on their day of issue. The stamp is the first in Canada to mark a royal wedding in over 60 years.
