Donald McNicol Sutherland was born in St John, New Brunswick, July 17, 1935. His 50-year career of over 100 films includes Ordinary People, Klute, Fellini's Casanova, The Italian Job, and MASH. He is the father of actor Kiefer Sutherland (who incidentally grew up in Crescent Town, Toronto).
