Lachine Senior Citizen's Inc, better known as The Teapot, is a fully bilingual organization and a community center for people who are fifty years of age and over (50+). They have a membership of almost 700. The center is located on Lachine's waterfront, on the lower level of a municipal building known as La Maison du Brasseur. The Teapot provides a place for socializing and offers a range of recreational, cultural and educational activities for its members.
In addition to the in-center programs, the Teapot reaches out to the community by providing a Home Support Program for less mobile individuals. The center itself is open five days a week.
